Does the Factory Aux Battery option include a upgraded Alternator?

Just a quick question, does VW include an upgraded Alternator when you select the AUX battery as a factory option?

Just curious, i would assume they would as it increases the load on the alternator.

I don’t think so, it’s only a basic relay split charge system too

No, the only vehicles that get bigger alternator are ones with extra/special equipment. (Usually).

The Cali has a 180A alternator with 2 additional batteries.

Highlines (except the 84ps) also come with a 180a alternator.
