I have read through all the other posts - regarding Dometic fridges but I am not finding my resolve

• The wiring was done by a professional not me

The fridge has been in place for the last 8 months - but I have probably only turned it on maybe 10 times in that period and not for more than 2 days max.

• I notice the freezer never gets down to temp

Today as I am planning on using it - the fridge is not really getting down either to temp

• I have it sitting at 6 (8 being the coolest) on the dial
• I have a temp monitor in there the fridge has been running for the last 4 hours - I have opened it 3 times to check and tweak the temp setting, temp is dropping but not significantly
• There are no error lights on as I can see

Treat me like I no nothing - as I know nothing really
Am I worried about nothing?

The manual does state the operating temp for the freezer section is -7 to -17 and the fridge +2 to 12c

If you're trying to check a fridge then give it something to work on, the thermal mass of thin air is very low and not what it's control logic will be expecting.

Pop a few bottles of water or cans of drink in and see how well it stabilises.
