Double passenger seat

Evening all, was wondering if any1 could help me.
Trying to put my battery under s double passenger seat but it doesn't fit was thinking could I cut some of the bulge out or would it affect its strength.. I have shown where in the photo attached. Thanks

Got a pic of the battery and kit you are looking to fit?

Cut the whole bulge out and cover with 12mm plywood and carpet, screw from inside.

That's pretty much what I was thinking of doing. I was going to try u-trim around it 1st if not gi ahead with the ply and carpet.
Did you cut both of them out??

No just cut out one side, but covered both sides to match.
Also used the same board and carpet to create an end to the rear of the driver's seat base to mount the vent for my night heater.
So it matches across the back of all seat bases.

Here we go m8.
Was going to set up under the drivers seat but didn't realise that the alpine sub and amp wouldn't fit in the passenger that's why it's got to go there.
I would have changed the battery but I bought it last Yr and have only now started working on it.
