Double seat swivel

Hi.
I seem to remember seeing a swivel for the double seat that actually swiveled the seat with the base remaining static! Can anyone remind me of the brand and where they are available from please?

Unless you really need the base to remain static (ie. because of electrics etc.), Kiravans bases are OK. Yes, the handbrake getting in the way is a bit of a pain (which I would like to sort) but it's hardly the major drama that some seem to make it out to be.

Sorry to bring up this 15 months later! @darrenmhaine we have started swerveseats.com; which hopefully(!) addresses exactly your original request for a static lower swivel base. Any feedback on the Swerve double seat base appreciated! Thanks Tim

Hope they swivel better than the kiravans ones
@Linoleum Bonypart. Out of interest, what's your issue with the Kiravans swivel? I've heard others complain about them but after a few early attempts find it quite easy to operate. I got my van with the swivel base fitted and the guy who I bought it off briefed me with the emphasis on first putting it into gear and taking the handbrake off to make room for the swivel. Me being me, it wasn't long before I completely forgot about that but it worked anyway. That said, I have greased the locking bolts and spayed silicone liberally on the nylon 'swivel plate' which might help.

@minicharli thank you; all paid up :)

@Linoleum Bonypart , we hope so too!

Please take a look at our Swerve Seats Double Swivel base. We tried to mitigate many of the drawbacks with the standard box + Swivel plate. So no discernable height increase & the swivel is built directly under the base so the bottom of the base is open to the back of the van and remains static; ideal for storage/speakers/batteries etc. On top of this it features a quick release latch with safety catch to make the swivel as quick and painless as possible. Our design also offers many possibilities with storage, for instance boxes on the sides and front.

Any feedback appreciated!
