I recently got my van converted. I have my RIB bed on rails meaning that the rear floor is raised meaning the base for the passenger double needed to be raised also in order to clear and avoid scratching the floor. Rusty Lee swivel base wasn't an option due to raised floor and rails.
The double passenger seat base is already lowered to give head room to passenger since on the far side to avoid their head touching the roof.
When i come to swivel the double passenger seat I can get it into position however I am extremely wary of it touching the handbrake. It slightly knocked the lever towards the drivers seat part way through the swivel in order to spin it round.
I've seen people talking about the swivel base with a normal height floor in the back and the solution seems to be a lowered handbrake kit? I can't seem to find a solution to the raised floor issue for this.
Will this slight knock of the handbrake become an issue over time?
Should I really be thinking about dropping the double down to a single passenger seat for ease and peace of mind?
Thanks once again to the people on this forum for your help and understanding without you alot of us would be at a complete loss
