Driver’s Seat Base - 12v Socket?

Does anyone have anything in this blank panel show below? What does VW fit here? Looks like it’d be prime for a USB or 12v socket.

You’re right - I think the California models have a cigarette / Hella socket in that spot. Probably ideal if you needed to plug in an air pump for the front offside tyre... and that’s about it?!

I have a hella socket there. Use it when the fridge is in the awning.

Thanks Adam @Ads_Essex and @Deaky . I may install one there off the Leisure battery so I can run some 12v stuff without risking the starter battery.

Yeah, twin slider and it’s connected to the leisure battery

Added my own socket to the base.

I have a hella socket there. Use it when the fridge is in the awning.

without sounding too stupid i take it a hella plug only fits a hella socket and cigarette plugs won't fit and vice-versa

You can fit a hella into a cigarette type with an adapter but nor the other way round.
