Does anyone know why the DSG transmission should be filled from the underneath and not top filled?
I have a fill plug on the backside on my 2017 Dsg above the diff.
Did a test. Removed the drain/fill plug and lever tube and drained the dsg. Then filled some dsg oil in that top fill hole and oil very soon oil poured out from the drain/fill.
Volkswagen does not even mention that fill plug in their workshop manual!?!
Perhaps not all dsg has this fill plug?
