DSG REFILL - should I be worried

2016 se shuttle, 150 hp. Have just carried out a dsg oil and filter change. Kit came with 7 litre bottles of oil. Having read in the forums that change capacity approx 5.5 to 6 litres, filling through a funnel and length of pipe to the fill adaptor I initially filled to about 5.75l, expecting some overfill to drain. Went through the warm up procedure today and at 35c no overflow. Have reconnected fill rig and kept topping up until all 7 bottles used - still no continuous overflow. I'd estimate that allowing for spillage each time I've disconnected, I've put a good 6.5 litres in. Any advice please?
Thanks

When checking oil level you have engine idling?

I did several dsg fluid changes in my t5.1. Did you drain both box and mechatronic? If so 6-7l is about right.

Yes - drained main box, mechatronics and changed filter. Will get another litre and top up till it floods

First change I did I bought 6 x 1l bottles. I was a tad short and had to buy another (drove it quite a bit before topped off) but only used less than half on the new bottle. Change after that I bought 2 x 5l bottles.

I always use VCDS for measuring the DSG oil temperature to be within 35°C - 45°C.

Both - engine running and gearbox external temp 35c on infra red reader
Okay, done ;).
Approximately 4.5 litres comes out of the DSG sump plus 1.2 litres out of mechatronics.
Then 6 litres go in of which approximately 0.3 litre comes out during dynamic oil level verification procedure.
So the answer is, DSG unit holds approximately 5.7 litres!
Big thanks to @Dellmassive & @buchanan84
Have a read entire thread.
Maybe you have missed something.

Thanks @Robert, I read all the posts relating to the procedure before I started - that's why I can't really understand why I've used about 6.5 litres allowing for a bit of wastage and I've still got no overflow when up to temp and engine running. I've just purchased another litre so will try adding a little more this afternoon

Is the van level or jacked up at the front?
