DSG slow to engage drive

Ex rac 120,000 miles when the vans been sitting it can take over a minute before you can feel drive engage. Reverse is ok. It is noisy at gearbox ‘faint rattle’ when driving! goes up gears ok but snatches a bit coming down on 5th 3rd . Any thoughts? Oil service has been done

The system is triggered to go through a learning cycle to account for any changes in setup or wear.
