Eberspacher control unit

Hi All
Please could someone point me in the right direction, I have, I believe a quick start control fitted to my T6
I’ve only owned this van since August 24 and not used the heater, went to try it and unless I’m doing something wrong, could it be faulty?
I cannot get it to work, the previous owner did have it working when he was showing me the van, but I’ve not tried it since then, until now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ps: I’ve tried to upload a video without much success, I’ll try again.

Thanks
Dave

Looks like you have it in diagnostic mode without diagnosis cable connected. Manual below.

Thank you for your quick response, please forgive my naivety, is the diagnostic cable something I should have and pardon the where do I insert it, if I have/ had one?
Secondly is this a type of repair/replacement that an auto electrician would do or do I need a generic camper repairer?
Much obliged
Dave

No you don't need it or them.
If you cannot exit the menu item that you are in then:
Switch off the power/pull fuse to the heater and controller and power up again. Then run through the setup again - you should be good to go then.

Operating instructions:

I had a look at those instructions and found it odd they don’t tell you how to get into or back out of diagnostic mode.

Pulling the fuse or powering down is a good call.

@oldiebut goodie Your a star, managed to get things started, took fuses out, pressed a few buttons and managed to get the screen to come alive, just need to try it a few times to make sure it wasn’t a fluke on my behalf 😬 Beer tokens accepted? 😀
