eberspacher - setting the timer

I set the timer yesterday for my heater to come on every morning at 6.30 for 90 minutes to warm up and demo at everything before my daily dog walking.

It didn’t come on this morning.

Do I need to leave the control panel switched on? I turned it off after I set the timer, expecting it would use a sleep mode or similar and activate as per the times I set.

Also, what battery does it use? The leisure one?

I think I may have figured it out.
I had not set the day and time and like I mentioned, I turned the unit off.

So I’ve now set the date and time and made sure the timer is selected. I left the unit alone and it went into standby on its own (screen went blank).

I’ll find out in the morning if it’s all working.
