Anyone else seen this? I thought the vans were already Bluemotion?

New VW Transporter Bluemotion claims over 50mpg

They are. Also says as part of the improvements that 'suspension has been lowered'.

From memory, I think the T5.1 "Bluemotion" came with a 30mm drop as standard. I was looking at one before I decided to wait for a T6.

No doubt the figures will go down if it's loaded but the mpg will sell the van to fleet sales . I dare say if your more carefull driving you will get afew MPG more out of it

Next they'll be fitting larger diameter wheels to run taller gearing to further improve efficiency
