ECU and DSG remap

Had my T6.1 150PS ECU and DSG remapped by @AutotechVagspecialist. Fred is a fountain of knowledge and clearly enthusiastic about his trade. My van was a typical stock 150PS DSG and the gear shifting felt sluggish and flat. I wasn’t specifically looking for more power, as the 150PS seemed ok, but definitely wanted more torque. Well I got both and I am certainly impressed and pleased as she now pulls like a train and goes like a rocket! Power is now on tap as soon as you press the accelerator and the turbo remains providing boost throughout the rev range giving a constant pull.

Fred is also very knowledgable in other areas of tuning and I’m sure I’ll be back for that EGR delete.

If you’re near Weston-Super-Mare and need some tuning done - Fred is your man!

Double post?

Double post?

Yeah new to this workings of the site and still working out how to post threads

I get double post every now and then. the other day a post i was writing and looking for a link for reference suddenly disappeared. On looking to see if it had been inadvertently published it had not been so i remembered approximately what I had read and posted that. then check and only the last post was published. OK I thought! About say one hour latter I revisited the thread only to see that I had already posted a similar post, that is the missing post. So I had then posted two similar posts, scratch head. There seemed to be a pause. Something similar has happened on at least one other occasion even more than that but I do not recall it a little frustrating. I put it down to either web site maintenance or something like that.

There's security software running that assesses every post made. I'm not sure what criteria the software uses, but some posts will get funnelled to a moderators' queue for manual approval, rather than being immediately posted in public forum. Any delays you're experiencing are likely due to this process and no moderators being online to approve.
