ECU Software update

Hi , have had faults with Adblue and nox etc , my research with the help of this forum suggests an ECU update to the latest version may well help , the nearest VW van centre is insisting on running diagnostics @ £150 . Then if they agree there will be further charges . Is there anywhere else I can take it for the software update in Suffolk and surrounding counties? Thanks

I do these updates starting from £120 (inclusive of diagnostic scan) but I'm a cool 250 miles away! If you find yourself in South Wales before you get the update done then drop me a PM
