Emergency lights turn on during rain or wind

In heavy rain or wind, the emergency lights start flashing. If you don't notice, they might drain the battery overnight. Sometimes it happens without the alarm, sometimes with it. When you press the key fob, the alarm disarms and opens the doors, but to turn off the emergency lights, you actually have to go into the car and press the button.

Is there somewhere in VCDS to check what's happening? And where exactly? (I'm not very familiar with the program)

Is it the motion sensor function triggering it?
If you press the lock button on the fob twice when locking up, I think it might disable that feature.
