Hello, just looking for some information.
Got a t30 105 I believe 67k on the clock and a 67 plate. Got it about a month and a half ago.
Engine light came on within a week, got plugged in and it said it was something to do with egr, got it booked in and apparently it was a problem with the alternator so that got changed, 3 days later came back on and then they cleaned the egr out and it was fine for about a week. Engine light came back on yesterday but the company had discussed with me that the egr can be replaced but we will be back in this situation in about a year, mention about getting it mapped and to get an egr delete. Now I know nothing about how an egr works etc. so my question is. What’s the pros vs cons?
