Engine Management Light after installing Auto headlight upgrade

Hello - my T6 2019 EML light has lit up.

This happened after installing a new auto headlight switch (something similar to this.)

Is this a coincidence? My suspicion is it isn't.

Have just purchased a Carista OB2 to diagnose and switch light off.

The auto switch works fine.

Presumably the electrics don't like to be messed with!

Any thoughts anyone?

The ones of those I’ve seen aren’t compatible with stop/start so that may well be your problem.

Thanks, yes there is an issue here. But I did source stop/start compatible unit.
