Erratic idle

Today while the van was idling it started making a funny noise like it was missing ticking (if you get me), could smell some sort of fumes when I open the door to hear it better.no warning lights or change in revs. Van had only been started up a couple of mins before as we were moving our vehicles about on the drive.
Its a 2021 T6. 1.

Sounds like a regen

Ah okay. Never experienced a regen whilst it is in Idle. Had experience of a regen after engine turned off and it panicked me rotton haha

Yea, basically it didn't finish, it will keep trying until it does.
