Exhaust Temp sensor Bank 1 sensor 2 Location

Hi all.

I've had fault code P2084 up, which tells me its the EGTS Bank 1 sensor 2.

Can anybody confirm the location of the sensor please.

Is it on the turbo or the dpf.

I've done some googling and im getting conflicting pictures and answers.

Its a T6 2018 102 CXGB engine.

Just a quick follow up to this.

If you start getting P2084 faults with P2031, P2032 after having some engine work done.

Its possible that 2 sensors are plugged round the wrong way. The plugs are the same black plug and fit each other.

Hey mate, I’ve got all three codes come up after having a turbo replaced, so could be quite likely plugs are the wrong way round. Is it the black and brown plugs that were the wrong way round? And were they wrong in terms of the plugs being plugged in wrong, or the sensor in the wrong hole in the exhaust?

Hi,
I cant quite remember the colours think it was black ones, but they were both the same colour.

One of them is behind the block with a kind of metal flex into the exhaust and has to plug in on the front right hand side off the egr cooler.
