we just use a 1mx1m square of artificial grass. It stays out in all weathers, gets mud off boots in wet weather, sand off bare feet in warm weather & gets pressure washed when the van does. Works a treat.Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend somewhere? Tried The Outdoor Matting Company but f'all is in stock
Homebase are setting the generic pattern ones.
Seen some in Tesco too.

Was thinking a 250x150. Something 'Vanlife' or a yellow and black VW one that I've seen
just something to consider with a mat that size, you have to store it in the van when not in use, and it could be wet/muddy/covered in grass from the campsite. The "Mat Paradox" is that if it isn't wet & muddy outside, you don't need a mat.
Same here, albeit ours is 3m wide so covers the full width of the entrance to the awning.
Actually really useful all weather space and didn’t Cost a great deal.
