Hello guys I have an amber engine management light on.

I had various codes. One was about the EGR, insufficient flow. And P0106.

I fitted a new air filter
New EGR valve and tube pipe
New maf sensor and map sensor

Now just left with P0106 and van feels down on power.

Any ideas?

That is the map sensor in manifold it’s just below to the right of throttle housing .i had this once before mine just needed cleaning (carbon fowling)

Thank you! I just realised the one I replaced is the turbo boost pressure sensor not the map sensor under the coolant reservoir.

Is it the same sensor type? Looks the same

I will do. Just took it out and it had a little bit of oil on the sensor. Just cleaned it up and refitted.

Drove for 3 hours and the light stayed off and was driving brilliant. I then turned it on and off and then it came on?

Cleared the fault again and drove for another 2 hours fine. Starting up seems to bring it back on, but not every time.

Had my MOT and inspector said intercooler had oil on it and was hissing from around there. I replaced it yesterday and it felt twice as fast and not down on power. Only problem is that EML came back on with P0106.

Recent work

New EGR valve and tube pipe
Intercooler
New MAP sensor
Cleaned MAF sensor
New air filter

Any ideas?
