Hi, I seem to recall seeing a video posted about adapting/moving the rear fixing on a wind out awning so that it could be fitted with the standard gutter fittings forward of the hinge of the pop top. I can't remember whether it was on the forum or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I stumbled across this guys write up, and did the same, all good, you may need to trim the pop top fibreglass slightly to get a closer fit around the front bracket , but no problems so far.

Great, thanks, that is probably the one I was remembering.
My next problem is that I have a Vamoose rail fitted that I'm not inclined to even attempt to get off - it would leave holes along the van and a mighty mess of sealant/adhesive! So, I'll be cutting the brackets down to miss the rail, but hopefully the outer part that the awning hooks onto and bolts to will rest on or against the rail and can be attached to that for rigidity.
If only, we've hardly ever used the Vamoose rail, hindsight eh!
