Finally got me a Transporter T6 :)

Well I finally did it, bought me (and family) a Transport T6, and a Edition Can't wait to pickup during week. 69 plate with less than 2k on clock

Looking at fitting a towbar and mud guards to it before going away in it. Is there any online VW dealers that give a wee discount? Looking at genuine VW towbar, electrics and mud guards, fitting them myself. Anyone else done them?

Also looking at getting VCDS cable, do they work fully with T6? have a older clone lead, doubt it would work with T6? anyone recommend a supplier?

Nice looking van.

If it's a MY19, you'll need the latest HEX V2 VCDS lead. There were software changes in 2019 and the older leads won't work properly with them.

As for mudflaps, there are better ones available than the VW ones. Especially the rears that need screwing to the sides of the bumper, about 4" behind the wheel arch.

You get a good spec on the Edition.
