Fish wire stuck in pillars

Hi all I wanted to run some some wires up through the seat belt pillar and down the rear pillar for a usb charging point, problem is I've tried to feed some fish wire through and it’s stuck some where above the sliding door. Anyone got any tips on how to dislodge it I’ve tried moving it back and forth for ages but no joy, is it a case of been persistent or should I just cut my losses and leave them stuck in there.

Bend the wire at a right angle to create a dog leg shape and then rotate it and make the whole length rotate, that normally does the trick
Not really an issue abandoning it but if it’s loose inside the void then it could rattle when your driving and that would be agonising !

If you end up having to leave it in - slide some cable sleeve/small bore rubber or nylon pipe or shrink tube up it to quieten it down.

I got one caught in the wooden boxed in section under the hinges of the poptop. There was a tapered gap in the timber, covered with carpet lining.

After much swearing and skinned knuckles, I ripped the carpet off and unscrewed all the wood. Only wanted to run in some wires for the tailgate spot lights.
