re - Eberspacher Airtronic D2 12v Heater Kit With 801 Digital Controller E8017

After searching the forum there is plenty of info on these heaters but I can't seem to find what Im after. I'd like to fit it under the drivers seat, i'll get my friend to do the electrics. I was wondering who has installed one themselves and how easy was it ? is there an idiots guide anywhere on this forum ? I've been quoted £1100 fitted but I know I can save a few hundred by doing it myself .

Mine is under the driver’s seat. Can’t help with fitting but be aware that Eberspacher are pretty hot (pardon the pun!) on warranty issues and buying/fitting through authorised resellers so, whilst saving some money, you may struggle to register and/or benefit from the extended warranty if things don’t go to plan.

Ahh ok, thanks for that. I wont bother fitting myself then , i'll get it fit professionally

We offer a fitting service for these heaters at either our Manchester or Stoke depots. This fitting would be £360 inc VAT.

For this same heater kit supply and fit would be £1075 inc VAT.
