Fitting rear quarter windows - metalwork?

On a T6, is the metal work surrounding where a rear quarter window would go the same on a van glazed from the factory Vs a kombi. I.E Once the aperture has been cut out, are you left with the same as a window van/caravelle? If not, has anyone got any photos of the differences?

This is what’s behind on a LWB panel van.The strut is removed if you want a window there, I believe.

Thanks @CJW. That's useful. Every panel van I try to look in has been panelled.

For comparison, has anyone got an interior picture of a factory rear quarter window (window van, caravelle, california) surround without the plastic trims in place?

...and if anyone has a decent picture of how the interior trim on a caravelle/california sits up to the factory window, that would be fantastic too!
