Fitting the B-Pillar Heater Ducting to Trim Panel

Hi,

Sorry as I know this has been talked about to death in other posts but there is one small question that's not been covered that I still have.

After not being able to find a part number for a B-Pillar trim pre-cut and ready to install I have bought a new one to cut myself. The issue I had was not being able to get one in the dark grey to match my trim. Palladium Grey. My van is a T32, T6.1 Kombi.

I just ordered the panel for my vin number and didn't have the part number.

I was under the impression that the panel would have the cut lines moulded into the back of it, but it doest :-( But more of an issue there is a trim panel mount right where the larger duct goes.

I have the rest of the bits apart from the heater itself now. The heater can be installed on the T6.1 in the under body / under drivers seat? Please advise if this is possible and how I deal with the B-pillar trim panel?

I'm not having much luck with this really as I ordered the panel and duct with grills for the California first without knowing it was wider, So if anyone would like to buy this from me, new in box please send me an offer :)

Dave

The Part number is 7E0 867 292 T NA2, Its the trim that's in my van now which I thought was going to be marked and I had to cut myself.

My Van is a T32, T6.1 2024 Kombi.

So it's definitely the dark grey colour.

This one you have said here that is a kombi version and not California ? And its cut for the heater ducts and doesn't have the old version hole for the alarm ?

I have found this incredibly hard to get right for some reason!

It's for aux heater, so will have holes. As for caravelle, not 100% confident it's not, but pretty sure, it's the only number I can find that I think your looking for. I google image the part no. Came up with this is closest, it's not in the grey, the part no matches, the last 3 digits are trim colour I believe, so should be same other than colour.

You say california, but think it's caravelles that are wider, to do with adjustable a/c vent in upper section i think, aren't californias the same as kombi on trim size?

Yes, part number 7E7-867-240-A-NA2 is the first try I ordered and have it here and can confirm its the wider one which doesn't my the Kombi

Found 2 more numbers both for aux heating,

Part number
7E0 867 292 R NA2
Description
B-pillar trim
palladium grey
Price
£68.20

Othe number
7E0 867 292 AA NA2

These lost for the double cab version, can't fully see on my parts catalogue, dealer or someone with etka may be able to give more info. Google images may help if you search them.

If you friendly with a garage or someone who has a TPS account, if on a stock order and unused, they are over the price threshold, so can be sent back for full refund if no good.
