Flexi Solar panel advice - CTEK

Hi,

I am considering fitting a flexible solar panel to my west dubs pop top, the guy who installed my electrics kindly put the solar wires in before all the units etc so they are nicely tucked away behind the panels.

The leisure battery and CTEK charger are under the drivers seat and I am planning on using the built in solar controller on the CTEK for simplicity.

I have read the CTEK charger can only take a solar panel with a maximum output of 23v? Any recommendations for suitable flexible panels please?
I’ve been looking but it’s a minefield! Had a look at the sunpower 110W panel but it’s expensive!

Cheers all

I have the 160W version of this;

Pros - 5 year warranty, thin, light, reputable brand, mine still working after 18 months

Cons - very short leads so you need to arrange connections very close to the panel, very flexible so can be difficult to get flat.

EDIT - sorry I've just seen its 23.9V, maybe too much for your CTEK, the 100W one would be ok, at 22.5V but may be too little power.

I have a 100 watt flexi panel and it’s not enough I’ll be changing this to a 250watt ridged panel, more reliable

Speak to Travelvolts. I've got a CTEK and 160 panel. The panel is slightly higher than the CTEK recommended max voltage but all ok
