Floor insulation question

Hi All

Finally got my new T6 kombi. Love it but the road noise needed sorting. I’ve started to use Silent Oat sound deadening which is a piece of cake to do. Using Dacron to give the panels a bit of insulation. Managed to do the roof and rear boot panels before I ran out of deadening so next 40 sheets on order.

I have a question about the floor though. I haven’t pulled up the floor but it’s really thick and wonder whether it’s worth pulling the floor up to add 2mm of deadening mat. Has anyone had a kombi and still done this?!

Next will be speakers. Need advice on wiring looms for the rear and what speakers to use.....

i felt it made a huge difference to the road noise, i ended up doing the whole van

Silent Oat

After a while the oats and cake will start to go mouldy and smell.
