So my van was lined etc by NEWWAVE in 2018 and I'm very happy with it....but I still find there's a lot of road / tyre noise and I'd like to tackle it.

One area that I think may be the issue is the floor. It's currently standard VW rubber flooring and I'm thinking this needs to be replaced with ply and insulation.

Has anyone got a link to a previous build that I can follow?

I have just completed my flooring this past week or so - first made a template of the old flooring on new ply then cut up the old ply into pieces to be glued onto the metal floor between the ridges. This was with 9mm ply btw - the new 12mm ply is then screwed into the old ply batons (not into metalwork).

On top of this I have Altro Walkway winter colour but not fitted yet as I need to complete the walls first

Yes - don’t start cutting the floor till you get that template!

Just finished the flooring today with Altro Walkway - a lot easier to cut from the back - is quite stiff and surprisingly heavy but should last
