As part of designing our new camper, I’m trying to find solutions for all the things that annoy me about the current one. One of these things is that the top cupboards like most seem to be open down. This means the soft close hinge is in the way of storage and limits what boxes you can use in the cupboard. I guess the first thing on my mind is why they all seem to open downwards in the first place? I assume related to clearance with the pop top struts? Does anyone have them opening upwards? Secondly has anyone come across a soft close hinge that is flush inside the cabinet?
