Fog light wiring

Hi, I’ve recently fitted front fogs to my T6 shuttle, using a kufatec loom to the BCM.

Coded in and all works, However the left right illumination when steering is back to front , I’m sure I wired up correctly as the wires were labelled left & right with the PIN numbers printed on them (was quite careful around this) there is a plug behind the bumper that I can spin round to swap the feed to each lamp (to save going under the dash)

Also… noticed that the fogs are on not all the time, but the go off when reversing, thought they should go on when reversing?

Any pointers to what I’ve missed / done wrong?

Kufatec is German so it’s all LHD, the bcm would be on the left for them so you have to reverse the two pins in the bcm

Thanks Pauly, kinda makes sense, but surely the PIN numbers are the same? And left is still left on a car no matter what country? Unless they view from the front? Anyway, simple fix to swap over….

But thinking about it, as the loom would enter on the left hand side of the van the cables would need to be run the other way due to the lengths I guess and mine are run left light in the longest cable (which I guess would make sense if they are designed for LHD) ….

Yes you might need to swap over BCM feeds(left/right) to your front fog lights.
It depends how your loom is made and how you have it routed.

Perhaps you could verify the wiring with your coding tool - by running "Output test" to turn on each (left/right) light individually on.
Fog lights on when reversing is a coding selection.

All fixed now and working properly, didn’t want the faff of getting under the dash, so wiring easily accessible behind the bumper DRL so swapped the wires here with a couple of multi plugs.
