Folding Bulk head LWB Kombi

Now I finally have a build date, I can get cracking on the fabrication. Called into West Yorkshire van centre to get a floor space template and measurements.
Has anyone done a folding bulk head? I will be making one for sleep space. I have an electronic winch going behind the back seats, big workstation on wheels and folding alli ramps to be able to unload/load work gear in one hit then replace with camp set up in a 2nd box on wheels that the folding bulkhead will drop onto to comple the bed. ( same with work station).

I have a folding bulkhead, the idea being to get longer items in my kombi. To be honest it's crap. It means the bulkhead is in more than one piece , and as such has no strength to it. It squeaks and rattles and drives me mad. It's basically a three foot hatch that folds forward over the seats and protects the seat backs, but for the amount of times I've used it, I wish I hadn't bothered.

only 2mm but over 13mm steel box frame and 13mm marine ply covered with light grey vynal!

2mm won't stop anything but the ply should help Looks neat though . Whats the winch for looks lik eit could pull some serious weight, hope you don't leave the drill like that when you drive it around

The steel box framework will provide the stopping power. winch will lift 13500lbs , using it to make quick change of purpose from service vehicle to safe delivery to camping weekend vehicle. workstation on wheels and folding alli ramps make it quick and easy on my own. camp gear box on wheels doubles as a bed for long trips with the folding bulkhead

Haha! Yes gonna be an awesome setup when complete. Its a key machine for cutting safe keys! im a commercial safe opening specialist.
Van away for Rock paint protection, reverse camera and cat 6 tracker next week then i can put her to use! pic of setup in position attached
