Front Fog Lights LED Upgrade

Does anyone know if LED upgrade for the Front Fog Lights are MOT compliant?
Been looking on a reputable supplier of Transporter parts and they don’t have any warnings about MOT compliance, they do warn about LED bulbs in their aftermarket headlights so I’m assuming they would do the same with the fog light bulbs too.
The fog lights are the type that turn on one side when turning.

Front fog lights are not a testable item for MOT purposes for vehicles registered prior to 01/03/18.

As your vehicle is later than that then the bible states thus...

Front and rear fog lamps are permitted to operate independently of any other lamps or ignition systems.

Fog lamps must produce a steady light which is:

• white - for front fog lamps
• red - for rear fog lamps

Front fog lamps that are not wired up and do not have a corresponding switch are not required to work. If you are not sure that they’re connected, you should give the benefit of the doubt.

So there is no inspection for the nature of the bulb or light source, no beam test = you're fine.

I Had my first MOT in October with VW and my van passed with led upgrade fog lights on a 71 plate.
