I bought a converted T6 just over a year ago. It’s my pride and joy, but, recently I noticed some rust to the front wing driver’s side and took the van to a body shop for their view . They informed me that the van must have had a bump previously and the ‘new’ wing needed replacing as it had not been under-sealed and the (Tong Yang) part would only corrode more. The body shop quoted me £450 to replace the wing and spray the new wing Candy White (top) and iridium grey (bottom). I was hoping to save some money by buying a wing online. I don’t know if this is a good option but I can see that on eBay they retail for around £120 but I guess the body shop would have better buying power/sources so this may be pointless. I guess that were I to get a Candy White front wing from a breaker’s this would really make sense but I’ve found this process difficult to navigate. How might others address this problem. I’m not very handy btw.
