Full conversion suspension

Hello All.

I've just fitted a set of 20s to my 6.1 T28 and I'm looking at reducing the arch gap. I was going to fit a set of cobra springs but my van is going for the full conversion next month so now I'm looking at coilovers due to the additional weight.

Can anyone advise a decent set of coilovers for full conversions. Obviously there's going to be abit of weight in the vehicle so are there any coilover sets with uprated springs?

Air is a little out of my budget for now but may be something I look into down the line.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks all

My thoughts were to have the coilovers done pre conversion then having the company carrying out the work adjusting them once the conversion is completed.

Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation

Our own BMVS Edition Bilstein Coilovers are perfect for the job, and have been used many times in camper applications. They are the best coilovers on the market and have been proved as such.

We have demo vehicles available for you to try before you buy and of course every fitment we do comes with a full Hunter alignment.

Hi

Thanks for coming back to me. They sound great but your a good 5hr drive from me unfortunately.

Do you offer purchase only with delivery?

Thanks

I’d agree with TeeCeeJay and get them done after the conversion and get them done by a specialist. That way they can spec and setup correctly from the start and they are not sat on the vehicle during conversion. Same with the wheels. Also if something goes drastically wrong during the conversion such as the company going bust or a life changing event you haven’t wasted your money.

You dont have to use coil overs to get a good result in a camper . It is important that what ever kit you buy it must be designed for a camper and not a one kit fits all scenario !! . rear springs cant carry the weight well and the vans sit too low for a good ride .

Let us explain our definition Kit to you , this is a modular system that is tailored to your needs and the van. It will be specific for a Camper . ,

This will be one phone call you need to make
we are in the West Midlands
