Full width bumper protector recommendations

So if you follow my other thread. Bumper is now realigned I just need a new bumper protector.

As the old one was stuck on with 3 different silicons, and the tape, some old some new and everything in between. I need the new one to be as wide as the old one.

Has any one got any recommendations for bumper protectors that are pretty much full width of the flat section. It could be short a cm on each side.

Genuine VW one… fits perfectly all the way across and is about £60.

I can see this one on vw parts, there are also 2016-19 versions but no pics and no descriptions…

I ended up with this one - Textured Black ABS Rear Bumper Protector - VW T6 T6.1 Tailgate - Vanstyle


Fits nicely.

The genuine ones are ok i had one on my original T6 and although it was a good fit i thought it faded way to quickly for something that is designed to be outdoors all year round
Physically lasted fine but i removed it after a few years as looked very faded/blotchy

So far my genuine one has lasted well- It’s been on about 2 years and still looks fine but I do treat it regularly with auto glym vinyl and rubber care

Yep - when the van gets a wash, the plastics get a dose of that... keeps it looking new(ish)

I've had RGM Automotive them from on four or five different cars including my T6 - they have always done the job, fitted well and stayed in place. The T6 one has been on for three years and IIRC the one on my Audi Q5 has been there for about seven years.
