Fuse box to another fuse box?

I have a 6 way 12v fusebox under my passenger seat. I would like to run a 40amp cable to the back of the van to run a few simple lights and a water pump (5amp). Can I run this from my one remaining point on the fusebox with a large fuse to secondary 4 way fusebox?

As long as your 40A cable fuse out of your last way isn't a larger amperage than the fuse protecting the whole of that fuse board or more accurately the fuse on the cable feeding that 6 way fuse board then you're ok.
