Fuse C36

Hi all,

Hoping for some help! I have a 2017 T6 Caravelle.

My washer fluid froze (I live in the mountains!), so I attempted to defrost today with some hot water, not my first rodeo.

Whilst that was doing it's job I tried a couple of times to get the fluid going, but no pump sound at all. This has been the case previously but it usually starts once it's defrosted...

So, I thought I would check the fuses... I located the correct fuse (or at least that's what I think! C36), checked it, looked fine so put it back.

I then went to turn on the ignition and realised that it was already on! And now instrument panel not illuminated, electric windows not working, engine starts but only for a few seconds, radio works, interior lights etc..

Any ideas what I might have f**ked and any solutions out there? I have disconnected the battery, both pos and neg but only for a minute or so. Perhaps I should leave it longer.

I'm going to get a voltmeter on all of the fuses tomorrow to see if any are faulty but just wondering if anyone else has encountered this?

Any help much appreciated :)

Sound to me like you’ve put the fuse back in the wrong slot. If you can see a metal terminal 9n both sides of the fuse holder then there should be a fuse in it.

Thanks Deaky.

I'm going to get out there tomorrow and double check that. Pretty sure it's back in the same place but I ran out of light today and it's started snowing now

Checked all fuses and they are fine.

Checked battery and it's also fine.

Plugged in and got a whole bunch of unknown error codes...

Waiting for the mechanic to arrive to see if they can suss it out

Battery is all good.

All of the things that relate to fuse C36 are not functioning. The fuse is fine, there is continuity.

Everything else is working.
