Fusebox shorting out or electricity jumping a gap?

Been scratching my head today, am not an electrician, so.....

I got a 6 way fusebox from ebay, i have interior 4 interior downlights, 2 tailgate downlights, an usb-outlet and a 12V socket connected to it. It gets its power from leisure battery through a 30A automatic fuse. The fusebox has independent grounds, and a main ground point. The fusebox is grounded to the chassis from the main ground, and USB-outlet is grounded independently to the fusebox. All the other grounds are in the back of the van in the factory grounding point.

Powers supposed to flow to installed wires when a fuse is inserted to a slot, and when that circuit has power going through it a red LED will light next to fuse.

So i plugged the fusebox live, and to my surprise when i turned on the switch for the interior downlights, that are low power LED's, they had a faint glow even without a fuse, and the indicator LED in the fusebox turned on. The 4 parallel connected LED's barely light up, but you could see a faint light. When i inserted a fuse they were to their normal brightness and everything was normal operation. This was the case with all the other connections too, power seems to be going thru even without a fuse, or at least so much that the indicator led turns on to indicate power going through that circuit.

I just cant wrap my head around the problem, don't know if this is anything out of ordinary, or might my fusebox have electricity jumping the gap between the fuse pins, or do I have some sort of short somewhere. I got a multimeter to measure continuity and voltage for troubleshooting.

I got a CTEK D250SE charging the leisure battery, but it wasnt obviously charging when this was tested. This info if it makes a difference.

Any help much appreciated.

It's normal. I have the same fusebox. It allows a small amount of current to light the red LED when a fuse is removed. It's this power that is faintly lighting your interior downlights. Nice wiring by the way.

Thanks for the reply, for some reason i didn't even think about the leakage through the indicator led connections.
