So, slowly sorting the Webber Go Anywhere gas bbq connections to the QD connection on the van. After extensive research trying to get just the brass fitting that fits the bbq I had to bite the bullet and get the whole hose and regulator (already a regulator fitted next to the underslung gas cylinder) so the regulator which comes with the hose assembly is discarded (has some weird cylinder type attachment that I have not seen before) anyway......which leaves me with a female left hand thread brass fitting crimped to the hose. So I could cut this off the hose and get a suitable in line connector to extend the hose and then fit my QD fitting on the other end, or, try to keep the Webber hose intact...so thinking if I can get the appropriate MALE left hand thread counterpart so the extended hose is screwed onto the original hose...make sense?
Are there any comprehensive gas fittings suppliers out there that anyone has used...or any other ideas or suggestions welcome.
Thanks Van -ites!
