I’ve just removed these wheels and put Devonports on for the time being. I noticed the Devonports are so far in the arch now!
I have devonport alloys and am just about to get 30mm spacers for rest and 25 front. If I put these on would they fill the arch so no need for spacers?.

Did you mean to quote me @Dave F?

Not knowing how Springfields sit, I cannot answer that, but can say 30mm on the rear and 25mm on the front might be a little overkill.
Most go 20mm rear 15mm front and that's perfect on Devonports.
I didn't even know you could get 30mm spacers for a Transporter.

I was looking online and 30mm H&R spacers came up for T6?. I was just thinking if the Springfield’s fill the arches buying them would be a option instead of spacers and they would look good.

By the looks of the picture above, they probably sit about the same as the 18" Sportline wheels, which people do spacer out, but all those i've seen are as mentioned, 20mm and 15mm. That's not to say your choice wouldn't work, it just seems a little wide, but it would be interesting to see the results if you do go down that route. (nice wheels by the way, and they look really nice on the van above)

It depends on the wheel width and offset but also the tyre width.

17s like Devonports are 7inch wide ET56. Some have 215 tyres in which I think 25/30mm spacers are needed and some have 235 tyres in which 15/25mm spacers are probably ideal.

The 18s above are ET55, 8 inch wide so the wheel itself will only stick out 17.5mm more than Devonports. So you'd probably use spacers at least on the rear still.

17s like Devonports are 7inch wide ET50. Some have 215 tyres in which I think 25/30mm spacers are needed and some have 235 tyres in which 15/25mm spacers are probably ideal.

Ok thanks I’ll take a look at the size I have on and make a decision. Thanks

I thought so, its just the post above said "The 18s above are ET55, 8 inch wide so the wheel itself will only stick out 17.5mm more than Devonport's. So you'd probably use spacers at least on the rear still." which confused me a tad not hard to do now at my age.

Just to clarify I have 215 developers and if I put the Springfield on they would be 17.5mm wider on each side?. Thanks

Sorry, I put them the wrong way around! The Devonports are ET56 and the Springfields are ET50! So the Springfields stick 5mm further out, plus 1inch wider.

Yes 17.5mm.

So as already been mentioned front will look good and back probably need a small spacer day 10 to 15mm. Thanks

I am very surprised these are still for sale TBH they don't come up that often and are an expensive option from new.

I think cheap tyres will possibly be putting most off because to put quality tyres back on is circa £600. Maybe try pick up some part worn branded tyres..?

Surely have them cheap enough to sell at £1200 though. I know the tyres aren’t everyone’s option including mine
