I appreciate this is not ground-breaking and many will have already sussed this but I use my iPhone as a Nav in my van and at times I like to listen to the verbal directions. When you select 'media' on the head unit you lose the ability to continue listening to the radio if your bluetooth is linked to the phone. Switching between the 2 is a pain in the arse.
Solution....download 'Radio Player App' on your phone. Have it active on the radio station of your choice at the same time as you are using Google maps on your phone as your Nav. Set the head unit to media and both will stream at the same time and your direction alerts will sound over the muted radio station.
