Got the dreaded flashing coil light again a couple of weeks ago with the following fault codes:
P20EE00
P200600
P200400
P012100

I have since had new vacuum activator fitted (1K0906627H) and loose pipe firmed up.

Light is still coming on.

Two years ago and (and about 40,000 miles) I had a new manifold fitted (04L129709E)

The van does a lot of 8 mile trips and less frequent long trips.

Any suggestions what to do next. Thanks. Andy

Which of the faults triggered the flashing coil light - that information is part of the fault code details (aka freeze frame data)

I have since had new vacuum activator fitted (1K0906627H)
What was the reasoning for the replacement?

Light is still coming on.
What were the fault codes now?

Why? Any fault codes then?

Any suggestions what to do next. Thanks. Andy
Please provide more details: which engine (code from sticker under dash), mileage, perhaps a proper diagnostics scan?

Soot level via carista app .53oz (15g) after carista regen .31oz (8.8g)
That's normal.

But was also the actuator replaced or is it still the original? (04L 129 061 A)

I assume that activator comes with the manifold, if so it is now 2 years old.

Looks like it leaves the above as the only active fault.

Any update? Any part replacements?

I have it booked in at vw garage on Tuesday for them to diagnose. Fingers crossed.

Too many short trips I guess. Also EGR was replaced this time which seemed to be the root of problem.

I can't see how a regen would affect those parts because during DPF regen there is no exhaust recirculation. Then it's just clean air through manifold into the cylinders and no exhaust flow through EGR cooler.
how can I prevent inlet manifold from sooting up, this has happened twice since owning the van and not a cheap job.
Had the van 5 years, mileage when purchased 7500 and mileage now 90000.

I'm afraid there is nothing that can be done at driver's seat.
The manifold is where fresh air and recirculated exhaust gases blend so obviously gets sooted eventually.
