So I pushed the button on a 150 TSI SWB Kombi Startline:
Pure Grey
composition media 6.33"
app connect
cruise control
heated front screen
LED tail lights
Multi-function steering wheel
2+1 rear bench
2 capt swivel seats
f+r parking sensors and rear camera
badge delete
2yr/80k extended warranty
30mm sportline springs (dealer fit)
2 free services

Tempted with the wheel arch protectors (I like and will keep plastic bumpers) and haven't decided on T5.1 or T6 18" Sportline wheels.

I also plan to swap the 2+1 for 1+1+1 before I get the retrim (GTI style with leather bolsters is top of my list at the moment)

Delivery has yet to be confirmed but mid-Jan 18 on the order form.

Sold a Mk2 Focus RS so will miss the performance but I missed not owning a van (previously owned T4 1.9tdi and more recently a Vito 120 Sport)

haven't decided on T5.1 or T6 18" Sportline wheels.

T5 sportline wheels have been discontinued now, if you want a set i would look around sooner rather than later as there is still a few sets people have in stock but when they are gone thats it for the genuine VW ones

The T5.1 sportline alloys the Bi colour ones are terrible for corrosion on the inner rim
My van was 2 yr old & they had some bad corrosion on the inner rim & non warranty item too

Mine look like new after 7 months (t5.1) butsaw loads of t6 sportlines on 17 plates looking tired.

Lovely spec, just don’t bother with the 30mm VW springs they are harsh - Plenty of better aftermarket options for the same price.

H&R’s are a far superior ride over the VW Eibachs. And then you could spend more on coilovers.....

To be fair, its the 40mm we usually fit. However we now fit more B14’s, than springs, On a ratio of probably 3 or 4 to 1. I would personally say, save up for the coilovers, they are the best upgrade available for a Transporter, in my opinion.

Im not paying to have it all swapped - quite happy to whack new springs on and leave them on when it goes back. Lease company are ok with me making upgrades.

Essentially I dont have a spare £1300 to spend as saving for a house and wedding in New Zealand.
