Graphic overlay on reversing camera

Whenever I go into reverse, my T6.1 puts a graphic of my van over half the image from the reversing camera. So every time I reverse, I have to first close the graphic so I can actually see the full image from the camera.

Is this normal and has anyone found a way of turning off this "feature"?

my aftermarket Kenwood does the same.....something like ...before you reverse check the surroundings....Really !!

SWMBO drove us home from pub one night in my car which didn’t have reversing sensors/camera. She reversed into a stack of bricks in the drive! “Oh, I was waiting for the beep!” she said. Nanoseconds later: “Please don’t tell anyone I just said that!!!”
