Grey Graphics on Grey Van

Anyone done any tonal graphics ie: Grey graphic on a Pure grey Van, looking at doing the rear qtr but not seen a colour I like. The van badges and plastics are all matt black.. Obviously needs to be a few shades lighter/darker.. Anyone done it ???

I have my Illustrator Daughter working on the simple logo design for the RHS Barn door and rear side panels. She is young, artistic and clever, so wants to do it in orange and get the matching coloured infills for the front grille, I am not convinced...

I've seen one that I would consider , I'll try and find the picture.. I'm looking at keeping the van grey and black not keen on the bright col infills. all the trim and side bars are matt so Id keep with the same theme..

I have gloss black on Indium Grey. I often have compliments about the subtle yet professional look.
