Ground Zero 8" T5/T6 specific speakers

Hi looking to upgrade Caravelle speakers and came across Ground Zero, but can't see any online reviews. Anyone had them fitted - feedback would much appreciated.

Not see them myself.

But there are many manufacturers producing audio kit for the T6.

You can use standard speakers, but need the waterproof rings and the mounting rings to bring the speaker forwards.


Or as you show get the specific made kits.

Ground Zero is ok. Only problem I find if your putting an 8" woofer into a door your going to loose some of your mid range, this can then make the sound quite piercing, bright and tinny.

If customers got for an 8" woofer I recommend using so e for of amplifier to aid the head unit .

Caravelle has 8'' as standard so not sure?

True but the stock speakers are made using the cheapest paper materials VW can find and don't have the power handling that the aftermarket stuff has 80w is a big step up to ask the headunit to move as the RMS value of a headunit is between 10w and 20w and the ground zero woofer is carbon fibre so much denser than stock, leading back to my above post.
