Can anyone help, last year I saw a bracket that you fit to the back of the bench seat, so it's not so upright. I can't seem to find any ideas. Cheers

How to remove the double passenger seat bracket to fit a Vancraft bracket

Remove the two spline bolts holding the end brackets to the base. Note which way round the seat belt holder is fitted for later.

Do the same on the other end of the base.

Release the other seat belt holder with a socket.

Release the nuts on the big spline bolts holding the seat bracket in the base. Now, support the seat back and slide out the bolts. You can lift the whole seat back out of the base.

How to remove the double passenger seat cover

Starting at one end of the lower part of the seat back, twist the back of the seat cover bar out of the channel.

The plastic bar is glued into the foam slightly, you just pull it away. Then gently turn the cover inside-out around the end brackets.

Unhook the cover straps by lifting the plyboard gently, and then gently peel the centre of the cover inside-out away from the main bracket.

For seats with a plyboard present, peel the cover all the way up to the top to remove the plyboard from the seat back. Either drill out the rivets or prise the board gently from under the rivets in the direction of the slot. You will need to remove the rivets and use new rivets to re-attach the board. Alternatively, you can remove the board and leave the seat without a flat back.

If you are just removing the bracket, you can muddle on with the plyboard in place, and can get away with only releasing the centre rivet.

Push a socket with a spline bit (T5.1/T6) or hex bit (T5) into the back of the foam to undo the three bolts that go through the bracket. Wiggle out the bracket (this sometimes take some force)..

Reverse these steps to fit a new bracket (pictures taken in reverse when I fitted my Vancraft, and there's no plyboard on mine!)

Hi, does anyone know if the shuttle bus twin seat on the 2+1 set setup would have the same hinge system, if so would it be compatible/ exchangeable with the front passenger twin seats ?
