Hi @Al Farrow
I have quite a steep driveway (approx 21% gradient), originally had a Swiss splitter on and this kept catching the lower part of my drive (this was around 180mm clearance from ground to under side of Swiss splitter on standard springs. The centre of the wheel to wheel arch was around 460mm)
After much help from this forum I changed the Swiss splitter (which was 135mm deep) for a maxton V2 (which is only circa 20mm deep) and I managed to lower the van by 70mm. (390mm from ctr of when to wheel arch) and I gained more clearance on the front end!
If the rear is full then the towbar does catch slightly but plenty of room on the front!
Also the B14s do transform the ride and improves the body roll!
Hope this helps, might be worth getting the tape measure out and spirit level!View attachment 30147View attachment 30148 Thanks
Nice looking van that Andrew.
My drive is a downward slope though so it’s the crest to get over that’s the problem really. I think it’ll bottom out on the exhaust if it’s too low.
Going to try laying something about 30-50mm on the high points and drive over that first to check clearance, maybe set the GoPro up and see how we go
